SLP Blackwing Air Intake System for C6 ZO6 or LS3 Corvettes
SLP's new Blackwing Cold-Air Induction Package fits the 2008-2009 LS3 C6 and 2006-2009 LS7 Z06. It features a new air bridge design with an integrated MAF housing, increased volume, secure mounting points and our exclusive Blackwing air filter. The resulting assembly provides increased air flow, improved performance and a better than OEM fit and finish. The new air bridge is made from cross-linked polyethylene with a slightly textured finish and an embossed SLP Blackwing Logo.
Installing one of our Blackwing air filter assemblies is the easiest way to improve the performance of your C6/Z06 Corvette by eliminating the restrictive stock air box assembly. This easy-to-install cold-air induction package from SLP provides up to 10 additional horsepower and 11 ft. lbs. of torque at the flywheel.
It uses a wire-reinforced, reusable and washable blue high-flow filter media that requires re-oiling (#155002 cleaning/oil kit) after cleaning for maximum filtration. It also features an exclusive built-in air-flow restriction indicator that changes color when cleaning is required. This is a simple to install package that requires no cutting or vehicle modifications. All necessary parts and complete instructions are included.
NOTE: The Blackwing Cleaner and Oil Kit is required when cleaning/re-oiling your filter.
